This is a true story about how 722 Indian refugees were evacuated from war torn Kuwait after Iraq attacked Kuwait in 1990.
Capt Viraf Kekobad who owned the cargo ship MV Safeer was live with me this Saturday at 9 am AEST on 4 EB 98.1 FM. to discuss this heroic operation in detail.. They did the whole rescue operation free of cost just to help fellow Indians in crisis.
